Hi all it's me again. Just an update on my progress after cataract procedure yesterday. First of all if your going to have it done please don't worry. I was in the Rivers at 7.30am and discharged at 9.30am having had it done had tea and biscuits and on my way home. There is no pain when having it done and you feel good when it's finished. Thankfully I have had no reactions since yesterday and none this morning. Some people may get a slight headache but I didn't. For a week I mustn't lift anything heavy or bend my head down low towards the ground no exercises and if possible not to go out in case I get a bit of grit in my eye. I can live with that. You'll notice from my photos I've shed the glasses and I'm typing this without them and that's because my vision is normal and is like it was when I was 40. I can see colours and see the bottom of my garden and can read things from a distance clearly and watch TV. What with my barber making me look younger and now no glasses I am beginning to look like a 50 year old. No rude remarks. Just got a call from the hospital and because it went well they are arranging for the other eye to be done shortly. Please don't be scared if you are going to have it done you will be fine. I can't believe I'm not wearing glasses and keep looking in the mirror to make sure it's me. Any further developments I will keep you informed and if you are having it done I am always available to take you and sit with you so don't worry. God bless you all. STAY SAFE. ROSEMARY and BRYAN xxx
